How many times Goddess Durga manifested on Earth

 The revered Goddess Durga, an embodiment of divine feminine power and protection, has manifested innumerably on Earth throughout history. Narasimha Avatara: When Bhagwan Vishnu in his Narasimha avatar, Durga emerged and blessed prahlad that Vishnu will come as a half-human, half-lion deity to vanquish the demon Hiranyakashipu, who had become invincible by gaining a boon that protected him from death by man or beast. Aloe Vera


Aloe, a popular houseplant, has a long history as a versatile remedy. Commonly known as Aloe Vera, the plant can be apply on cuts and burns for instant relief. Aloe Vera is an acaulescent or very short-stemmed succulent plant growing to 60–100 cm (24–39 in) tall, spreading by offsets. The leaves are lancelike, bulky and plump, green to grey-green, with some varieties showing white patches on the upper and lower leaf surfaces.

The margin of the leaf is erose (irregular notches) and has small white teeth. The flowers produced in summer on a spike up to 90 cm (35 in) tall, each flower drooping, with a yellow tubular corolla 2–3 cm (0.8–1.2 in) long. Like other Aloe species, Aloe Vera forms arbuscular mycorrhiza, a symbiosis that let have the plant superior contact to mineral nutrients in soil.

Aloe Vera has many medicinal values. Aloe Vera comprises over 20 minerals that are essential for the growth of the human body. The human body needs 22 amino acids for good health - eight of which are necessary because the body cannot produce them. Aloe Vera comprises of eight necessary amino acids and 11 of the 14 are secondary amino acids. Aloe Vera holds Vitamins like A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E.

In India, Aloe Vera maintain youth, due to its positive effects on the skin. Hence, it is known as ghee kunvar or ghee kumaari.


Amaltas

Amaltaas is one of the most attractive tropical trees with grape bunches like yellow gold flowers. The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. A tropical ornamental tree with a trunk embodied in hard reddish wood, growing up to 40 feet tall. The wood is hard and heavy which used for cabinet - work, inlay work, etc.

The fruits are dark-brown cylindrical pods, also 2' long, which also hold the flattish, brown seeds (up to 100 in one pod). These seeds are in cells, each bearing a single seed. A postal stamp issued by Indian Postal Department to honor this tree.

Amaltas has many medicinal uses. Amaltas has sweet blackish pulp of the seedpod that used as mild laxative. Juice of Leaves - cures Ringworms, Facial paralysis, Rheumatism (leaves are rubbed on the affected parts). One of the best laxative is very useful in constipation, flatulence, worm infestation, skin diseases.


Arjun


Arjun – the Ayurvedic herb in particular seen in Himalayan forests region, Bengal, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh of India. Arjun is found in dry hilly area in the form of rows of several plants by the side of water bodies - rivers, streams and ravines. It is also used for ornamental purposes and gives shades in many parts of India.

In Indian mythology, Arjun is Sita's favourite tree. The tree attracts lot of attention for the reason that of its connection with mythology and its many uses. Arjuna is a bulky, evergreen tree, with a spreading crown and loose branches. Flowers are small, white, and occur on long hanging flower cluster. Flowering time of the tree is April-July, in Indian environment. Fruit is 2.3-3.5 cm long, fibrous woody, hairless and has five hard wings, striated with numerous curved veins.

Arjun has many medicinal uses. Every part of the tree has positive medicinal properties. Arjun holds an esteemed position in Ayurvedic medicine. According to Ayurveda, Arjun is useful in fractures, ulcers, heart diseases, biliousness, urinary discharges, asthma, tumors, leucoderma, anemia, and excessive perspiration etc.
